Snap is a matching game, often played with custom decks specifically designed for the game. These rules are for playing snap with a standard deck of cards. How to Get Started Playing Players: Requires two to 12 players. Snap is a fast-paced card game in which the player with a quick eye and sharp matching skills collects the most cards to win. If you like the game, you can design your own cards to make the contest even more entertaining. The game then generates the cards and deals them from the left pile to the right. When a pair is displayed you should then click on the SNAP button to call 'Snap'. This is shown by a Red 'Snap' logo on the right of the screen. Be quick, the game will also call snap which is shown by a yellow 'Snap' logo on the left.

Left mouse click on the skill level button you wish to play, either Easy, Not So Easy or Tricky.Then left click on the Start Dealing button to start. The game then generates the cards and deals them from the left pile to the right. When a pair is displayed you should then click on the SNAP button to call 'Snap'. A pair is two cards the same e.g. two 'Aces', two 'Kings', two '4's' etc. Clicking when there is nosnap or after the game displays its snap, is penalised.Also you can draw with the game and no score is added. If you are quick and call snap before the game then the number of the cards dealt so far are added to your score. You overall score is displayed at the bottom of the screen. This is your score less the computer's, for however many games you decide to play in one sitting. It is this score which is used in the High Score Table. You can access the high score table at anytime by clicking on it's button. If you have a high score when you click on this button, you will be asked for your name for the table, and it will be added. Trying more difficult skill levels scores more points.

A variation of Slapjack with extra slapping, contributed by Justin Huneke
The name of the game is Slap and the object is to have all 52 cards. This game is for 2-4 players and a 52 card deck are needed. You win by slapping on certain cards. Rank of cards are (low to high): 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K,A. Without further ado, let the game begin!
Playing the game
Shuffle the deck and deal out all cards. It’s okay if one person gets an extra card, just make sure you shift dealers every game. Do not look at the cards. Organize them in a pile and shuffle them. The player left of the dealer goes first (the non-dealer in a 2 player game). Each player take turns flipping the top card off their stock and placing them in the center (waste). The way to receive all the cards is to slap on a special combo of cards. Here is what you can slap on:
- Same Suits: You may slap on the face up pile if the top card played is the same suit of the previous card.
- Slap Jacks: You may slap on the face up pile if the top card played is a Jack.
- Plus One: You may slap on the face up pile if the top card played is one card value higher than the previous card.
- Even: You may slap on the face up pile if the top card played is equal value to the previous card.
- Minus one: You may slap on the face up pile if the top card played is one card value lower than the previous card.
- Sandwich: You may slap on the face up pile if the top card played is the same as the card below the one that was previously set. (So in a sandwich, say you lay down a 10 on a 5. If another 10 was below that 5, it is a legal slap)
If a player makes an illegal slap, they must place the top 2 cards off their stock on the bottom of the waste (face up).

Remember, the goal is to get all the cards.
